This motel is owned by a great tag team husband and wife duo. They have brought creature comforts to their buildings while keeping you on the bluffs above lake Michigan. The rooms are clean, comfortable and totally independent for heating and cooling. Each individual entry for the rooms allows for great privacy and ease of use. The pool is warm and so is the great breakfast every morning. If you are looking for nighttime fun the back community deck is full of fun games and even a grill for cooking out. You won't be disappointed with your stay.
We loved our stay! The room was very clean and comfortable for a standard motel room. Breakfast was hot and fresh. What we like most was the owner and staff who were very friendly and caring. Easy short drive into town. We would definitely stay here again!
Full-on breakfast, cooked every morning by the Owners, included. I'm talking eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, bangles, cereal, fruit, coffee, juice, milk... It's friggin' nuts! And a nice pool and sauna, and a great wrap around deck with seating and games and a grill. Listen to me; stay here if your going to door county during tourist season. It's half an hour out of Sturgeon Bay, then up to wherever you're going without all the touristy hassle.
We go here every year on family vacation. The rooms are clean, the service is top notch, the breakfast is delicious, the property is fun! The grass maze, hammock, outdoor games, indoor pool, lobby board games…there’s so much to keep you entertained and our kids love it! The staff is wonderful! It’s a good place to stay if you want to visit wineries and door county as it’s all pretty close. You won’t regret it!
We have stayed there for many years. One of our favorite spots to stay when we travel to Door County. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.
Took a roadtrip with my young kids and booked night here after exploring door county. Was only a short drive away, close enough to see everything we wanted to see yet far enough to get us out of the over priced hustle bustle. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the property but also by the kindness and care of the staff. The rooms are a bit older but were very comfortable and clean with super comfy beds and felt homey. The hotel and whole area felt very safe. The owner was such a sweet man, very personable and the breakfast was off the charts above and beyond your average hotel breakfast. I would most definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again next time we're in the area
Awesome customer service! The gentleman checking us in was very informative and kind! Even put fresh towels in the pool area while we used it and the pool area is amazing! They even have a sauna. Our room was very clean! Not many people are here as there is only 4 cars including us but it’s totally worth the stay! You should definitely book your stay here.
Very relaxing for a quiet getaway, the rooms were clean and priced reasonably. The breakfast was better than most. Would recommend for a weekend getaway.
